Lincoln Tech's Queens, NY campus seeks Electricians to teach our students Electrical and Electronic Systems Technology.  Lincoln Tech has successfully transitioned experienced electricians with limited or no teaching background into successful educators. We provide training and tools to guide you in teaching our curriculum.

In this position, you will:

  • Encourage and train students in Electrical and Electronic Systems Technology
  • Teach Lincoln Tech's established curricula
  • Demonstrate Electrical expertise in our fully equipped facility
  • Instruct students about safety
  • Evaluate student performance
  • Maintain a focused and engaged learning environment
  • Report to the Director of Education

 Required:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Electrical experience
  • ESPA Certification current upon hire or obtained in the determined timeframe of hire
  • Must be certified or licensed where required by law
  • A good understanding of the electrical industry to include the following:
  • NEC Codes
  • Intrusion /Security Alarm
  • CCTV Access Control
  • Audio/ Video
  • Telecom/ Fiber Optics
  • Computer Application/ Networks
  • Rack Systems
  • Residential and Commercial Electrical Wiring

Preferred:

  • Associate's Degree or higher
  • State Licensed Electrician or Journeyman credentials
  • Instructor and/or mentoring experience
  • OSHA 10 or 30 completion
